By joining the network am I applying for a role with Solution Architects?
The intention of the network is to connect exceptional architecture talent with the organisations that need them. In some circumstances, this may be through Solution Architects. In other circumstances, this may be directly with the organisation depending upon the needs of both the organisation and architect.
Note that you are under no obligation to accept any role we may identify as being a good match for you. You may also choose to not be considered for any employment opportunities.
Are you a recruiter?
Solution Architects’ core business is architecture consulting. We do recruit to fill consulting roles but can also assist clients in identifying talent with very specific skillsets, permanent talent, or talent that may not fit the architecture-as-a-service model. e.g. part-time.
Our intention it to provide members with options that may progress their career. Members are under no obligation to accept. We request the CV for supporting verification and interview processes (if needed), but at no point are any CV’s shared with any client without your prior approval.
Will my membership guarantee me offers of employment?
No, however depending on your membership levels and capability, SA may contact you to offer opportunities to support client and SA’s architecture delivery needs. You’ll be under no obligation to accept any role.
What is the difference between the Associate and Professional membership?
The Associate membership is designed specifically for architects who are early in their architecture career or for technology professionals looking to transition into an architecture role. It comes packed with features to progress your architecture career including unlimited access to all publicly available SA Academy courses and monthly mentoring session.
The professional membership is targeted at more experienced architects who may not require mentoring or may already be familiar with some of the course content offered within the SA Academy.
Both membership tiers will still be considered for any potential architecture roles we are looking to fill.
What is the SA Academy and how will it help me?
The SA Academy is SA’s hub for courses, training, and coaching offerings. SA maintains its architecture quality assurance via the SA Academy. In addition, it is also part of our core capability to underpin the Architecture Practice Support engagements with our clients.
Tell me a bit more about the 30 minutes free mentoring per month?
Our mentors are all senior architects working in industry with real-world experience. The mentoring session will be scheduled at a mutually beneficial time for both you and the mentor. The role of the mentor is to provide you with architecture career advice and how to perform your role to the best of your capability. As an Associate member you can also request additional coaching or mentoring at a 5% discount if you require additional support beyond the included free 30 minutes per month.
